About the Role
Join Primark's merchandising team and play a pivotal role in translating strategic business objectives into expansive growth opportunities. This position offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in a fast-moving retail fashion environment while contributing to sales, stock management, and budget achievement.
Key Responsibilities
As a Trainee Merchandiser, you will support the Merchandiser and Assistant Merchandiser with tasks related to delivering sales, stock, and contribution budgets. Your day-to-day work involves analyzing projected sales lines, investigating and resolving data discrepancies, and forecasting future sales. You will also engage closely with product trends to help shape Primark's offerings as the company expands its presence across the UK, Europe, and the US.
