Trainee Load Control Officer

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Trainee Load Control Officer to manage weight and balance duties for flights departing from Singapore's Changi International Airport and other global airports. This role ensures aircraft structural weights are safely within specified limits and that flights are properly balanced with respect to their center of gravity.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform weight and balance calculations for departing flights at Changi and other international airports.
• Ensure aircraft structural weights comply with safety standards and flights maintain proper trim and balance relative to their center of gravity.
• Prepare and complete the Loadsheet and associated documentation in line with IATA regulations.
• Conduct pre-loading calculations, manage load distribution and planning.
• Issue loading instructions promptly and present accurate loadsheets to pilots prior to departure.

Requirements

• Possession of a Diploma in any discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency in English for reading, writing, and speaking.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Capability to fulfill essential job tasks which may include physical and mental demands.
• Minimum qualifications include GCE ‘O’ Level with credits in Mathematics.
