Overview
The Trainee Advisor role based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia involves supporting senior advisors, counselors, faculty, and the Academic Principal in managing academic programs and trainee engagement for a contract of one year, with a potential for extension.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in a related discipline is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required; certification like ICDL is advantageous.
- At least two years of experience in counseling or advisory positions, ideally within education or training environments.
- Knowledge of admission procedures and trainee management policies is essential.
- Familiarity with Oracle or SAP systems is a bonus.
- Experience working with Arab learners is considered valuable.
Primary Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for a high volume of trainee inquiries, approximately 200 to 250 per intake.
- Manage processing of sick leaves and absence documentation for trainees.
- Conduct uniform compliance inspections.
- Lead daily meetings addressing trainee absences and performance concerns.
- Investigate cases of tardiness and manage issuance of class entry passes.
- Manage requests related to housing, transportation, and employment from trainees.
- Conduct investigations related to sickness and coordinate referrals to the clinic.
- Monitor hallways to ensure trainees attend classes punctually.
- Maintain communication with parents and sponsoring companies regarding trainee issues.
- Support classroom management efforts, including addressing behavioral challenges.
