Job description

Overview

We are seeking experienced Traffic Marshalls for residential projects located in Maidenhead, SL. These roles involve managing vehicle and pedestrian flow within construction sites, with both long-term and short-term engagements available. The position offers a 45-hour workweek and requires possession of a valid Traffic Marshall Card. CIS payments are provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct vehicles and heavy equipment along designated pathways to ensure efficient and safe traffic movement.
  • Utilize hand signals, signage, and communication devices such as radios to coordinate with drivers and operators effectively.
  • Continuously monitor the site environment to detect and respond to hazards including obstructions and pedestrian risks.
  • Adhere strictly to established traffic management plans and protocols to uphold safety standards.
  • Prioritize pedestrian safety by alerting pedestrians of moving vehicles and facilitating secure crossing points.
  • Support site security measures to prevent unauthorized access and address security issues.
  • Maintain detailed records related to traffic flow, incidents, and other pertinent operational information.
  • Engage in safety initiatives such as toolbox talks and safety briefings on site.
  • Maintain effective communication with drivers, pedestrians, and site personnel to promote a safe work environment.
  • Report incidents and safety hazards promptly to the designated authorities.
