About the Role
An exceptional opportunity exists for a Trading Systems Engineer at a systematic macro FX desk. The role involves leading the creation of the trading infrastructure from scratch, focusing on low-latency, tick-to-trade systems. This position offers high-impact responsibilities including handling tick-level market data, developing algorithmic strategies, managing order systems, and executing trades. The engineer will work closely alongside the portfolio manager and will play a crucial role as the primary technical collaborator.
Responsibilities
- Develop and build the end-to-end trading infrastructure for the FX systematic macro desk.
- Implement low-latency, tick-to-trade execution engines.
- Manage tick-by-tick market data processing pipelines.
- Support algorithm development by providing robust and efficient systems.
- Oversee order management and execution processes.
- Collaborate directly with the portfolio manager to align technical solutions with trading strategies.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in C++ with elite-level programming skills.
- Demonstrated experience in FX trading environments.
- Proven track record building low-latency trading systems.
