Trade Sales Assistant

Role Overview

We are seeking a Trade Sales Assistant to be part of our Queenstown Trade Centre team, where a commitment to excellent customer service and strong results has built a trusted reputation. The role is full-time with 42.5 working hours weekly from Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, including every alternate Saturday from 9:00am to 12:00pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial point of contact for all customer visits to the centre.
• Engage customers to understand their requirements and offer tailored solutions from our extensive product and service range.
• Prioritize exceptional customer service to enhance sales and foster loyalty.
• Proactively seek opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products.
• Coordinate with support teams and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer needs.
• Support the upkeep of store presentation, including visual merchandising and product selection standards.
• Manage stock levels efficiently and conduct appropriate stock rotation.
• Handle packing, dispatching, and receipt of both incoming and outgoing goods.
• Assist with keeping accurate inventory records within the Trade Centre.
