TPF Developer

Overview

Coforge is seeking experienced TPF Developers for positions located in Bengaluru, Greater Noida, Chennai, Pune, and Mumbai. These roles demand professionals with 2.8 to 12 years of relevant experience, who can efficiently translate business needs into technical solutions within agile team settings.

Responsibilities

• Decompose technical requirements into actionable tasks to enable effective iteration planning with Scrum teams.
• Collaborate closely on coding, testing, and building software to meet defined requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Support the Technical Product Manager in gathering and preparing requirements for upcoming development cycles.
• Ensure and uphold high standards of code quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes with guidance from Scrum Masters.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to elevate technical practices and project outcomes.
• Engage actively in Scrum ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Develop and maintain high-level design (HLD) documentation for software components.
• Assist with deployment activities and coordinate feature releases to production environments.
• Participate in effort estimation and task sizing to ensure accurate planning and resource allocation.
• Apply skills in designing, coding, debugging, and testing software features.
• Diagnose and resolve issues encountered in testing as well as production environments.
• Collaborate across multiple development teams to deliver new technological capabilities.
• Innovate approaches to enhance application stability, scalability, and performance.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical implementations.
• Contribute to creation of technical software documentation to support development and maintenance efforts.

Required Expertise

• Strong technical abilities aligned with program-specific needs.
• Proficiency in software development and continuous integration tools.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems or relevant platform technologies per project specifications.
• Expert-level experience with TPF (Transaction Processing Facility), including TPFDF (TPF Data Facility) and TPFC (TPF Compiler).
