Overview
Abdul Latif Jameel operates a diversified business portfolio deeply rooted in the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey (MENAT). They have established a vast operational network and the largest vehicle distribution system in Saudi Arabia, with extensive automotive knowledge across the region. With 75 years of history beginning as a Toyota distributor in Saudi Arabia, their expertise now spans multiple sectors essential to the MENAT infrastructure.
Role Purpose
The Toyota Technician is responsible for performing mechanical repairs and related tasks at the center to meet targets focusing on customer satisfaction and service sales while adhering to company mission, vision, values, and operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure productive use of standard sold hours compared to attendance and deliver quality repairs correctly on the first attempt within a timely manner.
- Follow Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) standards and use proper tools to complete repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment through the 5S principles: Sorting, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain.
- Execute repairs as per customer requests under the close supervision of the Chief Technician within agreed delivery timelines and estimated costs to satisfy customers.
- Conduct preliminary vehicle inspections using appropriate tools with Chief Technician oversight to accurately assess damage and repair needs.
- Collaborate with Team Leaders (Workshop Production Manager, Chief Technician) to resolve complex technical issues ensuring proper repair quality through testing and examination.
- Manage after-sales tasks including vehicle repairs and maintenance in accordance with company policies, through communication and supervision by the Team Leader.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by fostering a guest-centric approach and maintaining service standards under Team Leader’s oversight.
- Coordinate with Job Controllers to accurately log repair data and update vehicle delivery statuses via Computerized Time Control Sheets to analyze productivity.
- Stay updated on technical information, service bulletins, and daily activities through regular meetings with Team Leaders to improve technical skills and ensure smooth after-sales operations.
- Support after-sales marketing activities, promote Kaizen initiatives, and help adjust business strategies to meet operational targets.
- Use all service equipment and tools responsibly to comply with safety, welfare, integrity, and branding policies.
- Follow standard operating procedures and collaborate with service teams to achieve predetermined operational goals.

- Requires strict compliance with Abdul Latif Jameel and Toyota Motor Corporation service policies and SOPs.
- Familiarity with Mechanical Kodawari principles is essential.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in automotive service.
