Overview
We are urgently seeking an experienced Tower Crane Electrician or Electrical Technician to join a leading Tower Crane company based in the United Arab Emirates. This role demands hands-on expertise specifically with tower crane electrical systems and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and connect electrical wiring and systems for tower cranes.
- Perform regular electrical inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults to restore crane operations safely.
- Repair breakdowns related to electrical components such as control panels, motors, sensors, and limit switches.
- Assist with tower crane assembly, commissioning, erection, and dismantling tasks when required.
- Adhere strictly to electrical safety protocols and maintenance standards at all times.
Required Experience and Skills
- At least 3 to 5 years of direct, hands-on experience working with tower cranes as an electrician or electrical technician.
- Proven experience in electrical installation, wiring, maintenance, and troubleshooting specific to tower cranes.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics related to cranes.
- Familiarity with control panels, motors, sensors, limit switches, and electrical control circuits.
- Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) or AC Drives is considered advantageous.
- Experience in the installation, commissioning, erection, or dismantling of tower cranes is a plus.
- This position requires practical technical skills; candidates with only general building or industrial electrical experience or solely electrical engineering backgrounds will not be considered.
