Job description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maintenance Technician to handle fabrication and upkeep of mechanical components including blanking, piercing, bending, forming, and progressive dies. This role also involves setting up dies on mechanical and pneumatic presses, conducting preventive maintenance, and collaborating with production and quality assurance teams.
Key Duties
- Create and maintain various dies such as blanking, piercing, bending, forming, and progressive dies.
- Install and configure dies on mechanical and pneumatic presses for production operations.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance activities to ensure the smooth functioning of tools and machines.
- Maintain detailed tool history cards documenting maintenance and usage.
- Coordinate closely with production and quality assurance teams to optimize tool performance and product quality.
Required Experience
- Proven experience specifically with progressive dies is essential.
