Tool Crib Attendant

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Tool Room Attendant to join our team supporting composites manufacturing operations under the client II contract. This full-time onsite role is crucial in maintaining tool room stock, managing consumables, and aiding technicians involved in composite fabrication, layup, and processing. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, precision-driven manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Tool Room Attendant will oversee the inventory of tools, materials, and consumables necessary for composite manufacturing activities. This includes assisting with layup, curing, trimming, and finishing tasks by ensuring that all required tools, materials, and chemicals are maintained in adequate supply, properly tracked, and easily accessible.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent mandatory
• Preferred experience in composites manufacturing, fabrication, machine shop, or warehouse/tool room settings
• Familiarity with composite materials and related processes such as prepregs, vacuum bagging, and curing is advantageous
• Strong organizational ability and meticulous attention to detail, particularly for inventory management and material control
• Basic mechanical skills and comfort with hand tool usage
• Knowledge of material handling protocols including shelf life monitoring and environmental controls
• Experience with chemical handling and safety procedures preferred
• Forklift and/or overhead crane operational experience is a plus
• Possession of a valid Virginia Driver’s License required
• Must be able to successfully clear a background check
