About the Role
We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder to accurately weld stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum components according to engineering drawings and specifications. The candidate will operate TIG welding machines and work safely with proper personal protective equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute TIG welding tasks on SS, MS, and aluminum materials following design requirements.
- Interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and dimensional data precisely.
- Adjust and manage welding machines, including parameters like current, gas flow, and welding settings.
- Perform various weld types such as butt, fillet, and corner welds, ensuring quality and appearance.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE during work.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven hands-on experience in TIG welding.
- Preferred ability to weld thin-gauge stainless steel sheets and tubing.
- Knowledge and handling of argon gas, tungsten electrodes, and filler rods.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant industry experience.
Additional Information
- Salary ranges from 20,000 to 35,000 INR per month, dependent on current pay and experience.
- Work involves 2 shifts: first and second shift.
- Facilities provided include a canteen and transportation from Thane and Kalyan.
