Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Ticket Controller to join Lusail International Circuit. This pivotal role involves meticulous management of ticket inventory, allocations, distribution logs, and reconciliation processes with utmost accuracy, confidentiality, and responsibility.
Key Duties
- Ensure precise control of ticket inventory throughout its lifecycle.
- Confirm ticket counts, classification, reference details, and allocation records.
- Manage controlled ticket allocations, releases, modifications, and distribution requirements.
- Maintain thorough and accurate logs of ticket movements and reconciliation documentation.
- Detect and rectify inconsistencies in inventory, allocations, and distribution.
- Oversee ticket tracking systems and deliver detailed status and reconciliation reports.
- Support urgent ticketing needs ensuring strict accuracy and control.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3 to 5 years hands-on experience in ticket control, inventory management, fulfilment, hospitality ticketing, or similar roles.
- Proven responsibility for managing physical and/or digital ticket inventory, allocations, distributions, and reconciliations.
- Experience supporting major sporting, international or high-volume controlled ticketing events.
- Familiarity with VIP, corporate, sponsor, or hospitality controlled ticket allocation is highly beneficial.
- Proficient in Excel and ticketing/report tracker software.
- Ability to handle detail-sensitive high-volume records where allocation mistakes could lead to operational or financial issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and capability to perform accurately under significant time constraints.
- Arabic language skills are considered an advantage.
Experience limited to event operations, sales, box office, ushering, accreditation, or hospitality roles without ticket control responsibilities will not be regarded as directly relevant.
Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
- Applicants with extensive specialist ticketing experience may also be considered.
Additional Conditions
- Must be currently residing in Qatar holding a valid Residence Permit (QID).
- Ability to furnish a No Objection Certificate (NOC), if necessary, for the contract duration.
