Company Overview
Join a reputable and expanding financial services firm, Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited, as part of its Revenue Operations and Payment Team.
Position Summary
The Third-Party Reconciliation Assistant will be responsible for ensuring accurate reconciliation of all third-party payment files and swiftly addressing any discrepancies or anomalies found.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile third-party payment files and ensure data is forwarded to the Corporate Accounts department.
- Verify Jamaica National Bank payments against electronic payment records and manage daily voids communicated via email.
- Monitor daily update notifications to confirm receipt of all files.
- Cross-check frequent daily update files from third-party partners against system records to detect inconsistencies.
- Compile and submit detailed third-party reports.
- Carry out additional related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a minimum of six CXC general proficiency certificates including Mathematics and English Language.
- Industry certifications such as LOMA parts 1 and 2 or equivalent are advantageous.
- At least two years of work experience, with a minimum of one year within the operations department of a life insurance company.
- Proficient with standard computer software, including word processing and spreadsheet tools.
- Strong interpersonal and time management capabilities.
- Familiarity with insurance policies and operational procedures.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
