About NorthFox Technologies
NorthFox Technologies specializes in specialist commissioning and validation services on complex, mission-critical projects, particularly in data centres and critical infrastructure across Europe. We are expanding our team and looking for an experienced Thermographer to contribute to high-profile projects.
Role Overview
As a Thermographer, you will be an integral part of the commissioning process, conducting thermal imaging inspections on electrical and mechanical systems to detect faults before failures occur. You will analyze infrared data, prepare detailed professional reports, and collaborate closely with commissioning teams and clients to ensure safe and efficient system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thermal imaging inspections on mission-critical electrical and mechanical systems
- Capture and analyze infrared images to detect temperature irregularities and potential points of failure
- Compile comprehensive reports with clear recommendations
- Communicate findings and provide technical guidance to clients and project teams
- Participate in commissioning meetings to support project delivery
- Maintain and calibrate thermal imaging equipment to ensure accurate measurements
- Follow safety protocols and industry standards while conducting inspections
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary commissioning teams on live projects
Qualifications and Skills
- Industry-recognized certification in thermography is highly desirable
- At least 12 months of experience in a similar thermography role
- Proficiency using thermal imaging cameras and associated analysis software
- Strong skills in report writing and effective client communication
- Exceptional attention to detail and an analytical approach
- Knowledge of health and safety standards related to the role
- Competent with Microsoft Office 365 applications
- Possession of a valid UK or EU driving license and willingness to travel broadly
- Flexibility to work rotational schedules across European locations
Compensation
The starting annual salary for this position is €55,000.
