Role Overview

We seek a driven and seasoned Test Lead specialized in the Insurance Domain, particularly experienced with New Business Processes and Policy Administration Systems. The role demands leadership skills in managing QA teams and steering quality assurance activities over various projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into detailed test scenarios.
  • Ensure comprehensive testing coverage for onboarding and new business workflows.
  • Review and assess test cases, execution outcomes, and defect logs.
  • Oversee timelines for test execution and guarantee delivery of high-quality outputs.
  • Disseminate frequent progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor the QA engineering team.
  • Develop test strategies, plans, and execution summaries.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor testing advancement, manage risks, and track quality metrics.
  • Champion release readiness to assure superior delivery standards.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 6 to 9 years of professional experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
  • In-depth Insurance Domain knowledge, focusing on Policy Issuance and Servicing.
  • Hands-on experience in Life Insurance applications and Insurance Policy Administration Systems such as Ingenium or comparable platforms.
  • Expertise in Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing support.
  • Proficiency in defect management and test reporting processes.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Exposure to API Testing and Test Management tools.
  • Strong communication capabilities and proven skills managing stakeholders.
  • Capacity to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
