Position Overview
The role of Territory Service Representative (TSR) in Operations centers on ensuring prompt and efficient pickup and delivery of shipments across designated zones, while exemplifying professional and courteous customer service. The TSR is the frontline ambassador representing the Blue Dart brand, responsible for shipment safety, timeliness, and proper documentation including cash on delivery (COD) and proof of delivery (POD) compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute timely pickup and delivery within assigned routes, guaranteeing shipment arrival within promised schedules.
- Carefully verify and handle shipments to avoid damage or loss.
- Maintain high productivity and optimize delivery routes for efficiency.
- Provide courteous, customer-focused interactions, addressing routine queries and escalating concerns as needed.
- Accurately manage COD collections and related documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Use digital devices for real-time shipment scanning and status updates following standard procedures.
- Adhere to road safety norms and operate vehicles responsibly, wearing required uniforms and safety gear.
- Maintain assigned vehicles or personal two-wheelers in safe, clean conditions with up-to-date documentation.
- Demonstrate discipline in grooming, punctuality, and workplace conduct, positively representing Blue Dart.
- Collaborate with shift leaders and operational teams to support branch productivity and service excellence.
Qualifications and Eligibility
- Minimum education: 10th standard pass; higher education is beneficial.
- Experience: Freshers or up to 2 years in logistics, courier, delivery, or similar fields preferred.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old with valid driving licenses for two-wheelers or four-wheelers.
- Personal ownership of a two-wheeler is required if vehicle deployment is involved.
- Physical fitness is necessary to meet field work demands.
- Willingness to work shifts including weekends and holidays as business requires.
Skills Required
- Competent in pickup and delivery processes, shipment handling, and accurate cash collection.
- Proficient in use of handheld scanners and mobile technology for shipment updates.
- Familiarity with delivery routes and basic computer and communication skills.
- Basic English reading and understanding capability.
