Position Overview
The Territory Service Representative (TSR) in Operations is responsible for executing timely pickups and deliveries within assigned territories while ensuring a superior customer experience and representing the Blue Dart brand professionally. The TSR handles shipments safely, performs accurate scanning, manages COD collections, and complies with operational standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete pickups and deliveries on schedule within the assigned route or territory
- Verify shipment details before collection and delivery to avoid errors
- Handle shipments carefully to prevent damage or loss
- Maintain efficiency and productivity during deliveries
- Serve as the primary customer contact, displaying courteous and professional behaviour
- Address straightforward customer queries and escalate issues as necessary
- Collect and accurately manage Cash on Delivery (COD) payments, ensuring timely remittance
- Obtain Proof of Delivery and maintain accurate shipment documentation
- Use handheld devices or approved digital tools to scan shipments and update statuses in real time
- Strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for pickup and delivery tasks
- Adhere to company policies and ensure safety compliance during operations
- Maintain road safety practices and securely handle shipments during transit
- Wear the prescribed uniform and personal protective equipment when needed
- Maintain assigned vehicle or personal two-wheeler in good working condition, including validity of all statutory documents
- Exhibit punctuality, discipline, and professionalism, representing the brand positively
- Collaborate with Shift In-charges and branch teams to meet operational goals and support colleagues during contingencies
Eligibility and Qualifications
- Minimum education: Completion of 8th Standard; higher education preferred
- Fresher candidates or up to two years of relevant experience in courier, logistics, distribution, retail delivery, or field operations
- Experience with pickup and delivery operations is beneficial
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving licence
- Should own a two-wheeler if personal vehicle use is required by company policy
- Physically fit to perform field duties and willing to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate
Required Skills and Competencies
- Operational knowledge of pickup and delivery processes
- Skilled in shipment handling and cash collection (COD)
- Proficient in Proof of Delivery procedures and mobile device or scanner usage
- Familiarity with assigned routes and basic computer/mobile applications
- Basic English literacy for reading and comprehension
- Customer-focused attitude with integrity, reliability, and safety awareness
- Teamwork, discipline, effective time management, accountability, and professionalism

- Maintaining high service quality including first attempt deliveries and accurate documentation
