Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify signs of termite activity and understand termite behavior to determine appropriate remedial actions.
  • Safely and effectively conduct termite treatment procedures in line with company standards.
  • Apply anti-termite treatments to structures following scheduled timelines, safety protocols, and product label guidelines.
  • Advise customers on conditions that encourage termite infestations and discuss additional procedures or structural adjustments that may aid treatment.
  • Confirm that job specifications align with work order requirements.
  • Operate, maintain, and care for service vehicles and equipment.
  • Complete production documentation detailing performed services.
  • Engage with customers, explaining services delivered and answering questions.

Essential Job Functions

  • Adapt to varying environmental conditions, including seasonal weather changes and damp or dusty environments.
  • Prepare sites adequately prior to treatment application.
  • Enter and exit buildings, crawl spaces, climb ladders and stairs, and maneuver on rooftops and elevated areas up to 20 feet.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces and narrow passageways.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and working on scaffolding or poles.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including OSHA-compliant respirators.
  • Experience in general labor, carpentry, cement work, roofing, gutter maintenance, and attic work is advantageous.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Must maintain a clean-shaven face to ensure a proper seal when using respirators.
  • Possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Hold a valid driver's license from your state of residence.
  • At least one year of customer service experience; termite control experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn new skills.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Friday and occasionally on Saturdays.
  • Possession of any required licenses or certifications mandated by federal, state, or local regulations (provided by the company).
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals to follow product mixing instructions accurately.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $20.00 to $22.00, though starting pay may vary depending on factors such as location, experience, skills, and education. Total compensation may also include overtime, incentives, commissions, and performance-based rewards.
