The opportunity available is for an Electrical & Instrumentation Tendering Engineer based in Dubai, UAE.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or in Electrical Engineering and Instrumentation.
- Have between 5 and 7 years of experience specifically in bidding or cost estimation for EPC projects within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Be well-versed in international standards including IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and API.
- Demonstrate competence in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications to support data estimation and analytical tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply comprehensive understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems implemented in Oil & Gas facilities.
- Interpret and analyze Single-Line Diagrams (SLD), electrical diagrams, data sheets, instrument connection details, and Control System Architecture Diagrams accurately.
- Ensure compliance and familiarity with recognized international standards such as IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and API throughout tendering processes.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and Office programs effectively for estimation and data analysis purposes.
