About the Role

Oversee and manage the entire contract lifecycle management ensuring adherence to contract terms and maintenance of vendor relationships. Monitor supplier compliance with commitments and coordinate with business units on any performance gaps. Actively seek and pursue opportunities for cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, implement, and uphold contract regulations, governance frameworks, and procedural guides throughout the contract lifecycle, ensuring alignment with Saudi Arabian legal requirements.
  • Design and standardize bidding documents, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and contract templates to promote consistency, transparency, and efficiency within the department.
  • Set up and enforce internal controls and continuously improve processes to audit contracts, streamline tendering operations, and support organizational objectives.
  • Manage end-to-end tendering processes including issuing RFPs, opening bids, conducting technical and financial evaluations, leading negotiations, awarding contracts, and completing formal bid closures.
  • Guarantee strict compliance of all tender activities, documentation, and vendor choices with company policies and local regulatory standards, emphasizing maximizing Local Content involvement.
  • Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate supplier and operator agreements ensuring legal compliance, appropriate pricing, terms, and mitigation of commercial risks.
  • Author official contract-related correspondence, oversee claim management, and coordinate dispute resolutions with the Legal Department to safeguard the company’s interests.
  • Monitor financial commitments, oversee accurate order entries and funding allocation, and verify that invoices and payments adhere to contractual terms.
  • Administer active contracts by managing scope modifications, change orders, delivery schedules, and contract amendments to enhance performance.
  • Track contractual obligations, service level agreements (SLAs), and timelines ensuring both parties meet operational and regulatory responsibilities, reducing risks.
  • Maintain a centralized archive of signed contracts and SLAs to ensure audit preparedness and produce periodic reports on performance and Local Content compliance.
  • Lead contract closure phases by ensuring all commitments, deliveries, and documentation are satisfactorily completed before formal administrative closure.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is mandatory; master’s degree is desirable.
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity; sector-specific experience is an advantage.
  • Preferred possession of professional certifications such as Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent credentials related to contract management and procurement.
