About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and results-oriented Tender & Qualification Specialist to join our Business Development team at eham Facility Solutions in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on managing all aspects of tendering and vendor qualification processes to strengthen market presence and foster sustainable business growth within the Facility Services, Corporate, and Industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and complete end-to-end Vendor Registration, Prequalification, and Approval procedures with current and potential clients, ensuring eham is recognized as a qualified vendor.
- Identify and track new tenders, RFQs, RFPs, invitations, and business opportunities through various client portals and procurement platforms.
- Handle registrations and opportunity management via platforms including SAP Ariba, Oracle, and other electronic procurement systems.
- Maintain and expand the database of target clients and vendor registrations actively.
- Review tender conditions thoroughly and coordinate internally to submit complete and compliant bids.
- Prepare detailed technical and commercial tender documents, prequalification packages, company profiles, capability statements, project references, and formatted CVs.
- Collaborate with internal departments and bidding teams to streamline the tendering process.
- Engage directly with clients for clarifications, additional requirements, and updates on qualification status.
- Follow up on submitted proposals and tenders through client portals and direct communication channels.
- Generate daily and periodic reports on new opportunities, qualification statuses, active tenders, and results.
- Facilitate meetings with potential and strategic clients to foster business relations.
- Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, procurement teams, and key decision-makers.
- Keep accurate records of awarded, lost, ongoing, and upcoming business opportunities.
- Assist Business Development leadership in converting qualified accounts into ongoing business ventures.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 10 years of professional experience in related roles.
- Background in Facility Services, Industrial, and Corporate/Business sectors is essential.
- Demonstrated proficiency in tendering processes, prequalification, vendor registrations, business development, and client relationship management.
- Experience successfully navigating client qualification and vendor approval cycles.
- In-depth understanding of corporate procurement procedures and electronic tendering systems.
- Experience partnering with large corporations, industrial bodies, procurement teams, and key account management.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers and stakeholders.
- An existing professional network in Facility Services and Industrial industries is highly advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
- Proficient in English for business correspondence, report writing, and proposal development.
