Job Overview

We are seeking a male Telephone Operator to join our team at Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh. This role entails managing all incoming and outgoing phone communications for the university and delivering courteous and precise information to various stakeholders including students, faculty, staff, visitors, and external callers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage and route incoming calls accurately to relevant departments or individuals via the university's phone system.
• Provide clear and accurate details regarding university services, office hours, events, and campus facilities.
• Handle emergency calls in accordance with established protocols, promptly contacting campus authorities as required.
• Keep detailed logs of calls, inquiries, and any reported issues.
• Support maintenance of the contact directory to ensure all information is up to date.
• Deliver professional and courteous service to all callers representing the university positively.
• Assist with various administrative tasks like data entry, recording emails, and updating communication platforms.
• Alert IT support regarding any malfunctions or issues with telephone or communication equipment.

Qualifications and Eligibility

The candidate must hold any degree and be male as per the job title requirement.
