Job description
Role Overview
As a Telephone Operator, you will be responsible for managing incoming calls with professionalism and a customer-centric attitude, aiming to leave guests with a positive and memorable impression throughout their stay at the hotel.
Key Duties
- Warmly and professionally answer guest calls, ensuring friendly and courteous interactions at all times.
- Coordinate smoothly with various hotel departments to deliver uninterrupted and efficient services.
- Respond to guest inquiries politely and courteously, consistently surpassing their expectations.
- Use guests' names when addressing them on calls, following the hotel's communication standards.
- Maintain current knowledge of hotel services and local amenities to assist guests effectively.
- Utilize the Opera Guest profile system to gain insights into guest preferences and profiles.
- Prepare long-distance call vouchers and record usage accurately on the traffic sheet.
- Manage wake-up call schedules, ensuring timely delivery of calls in accordance with hotel standards.
- Operate the switchboard efficiently to ensure fast transfer of incoming and outgoing calls internally and externally.
- Take and deliver messages for guests and management following standard procedures.
- Comply with the organization's environmental, health, and safety protocols and standards.
