Job description
About the Role
This position is based full-time at our Dublin 2 office on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with a salary range from 27,342 to 30,380. You will report directly to the Telemarketing Manager and Team Leader and collaborate closely with teams including Direct Marketing Executives, Donor Care, Fundraising Systems, and other Concern departments. Your normal working hours will be Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM, totaling 35 hours per week.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute telemarketing campaigns to meet specified key performance goals.
- Contact current donors or potential prospects by phone as part of marketing initiatives.
- Ensure all telephone communications comply with Concern's protocols and standards.
- Achieve productivity targets and meet or surpass key performance indicators.
- Accurately input complete information into CRM databases after each interaction.
- Participate actively in campaign briefings, training sessions, and ongoing learning environments.
- Maintain professionalism and courteous communication when engaging with donors.
- Perform specific assignments and projects as assigned by the Telemarketing Project Manager.
- Fulfill additional duties as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Some prior experience in fundraising is essential.
- A minimum of 6 to 12 months of experience in telesales and customer service, preferably within a contact center or telesales setting.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with proven teamwork skills.
- Excellent organizational and planning capabilities, along with a willingness to learn and accept management feedback.
- Effective negotiation and objection handling expertise.
- Proficient IT skills, including familiarity with MS Office, internal databases, internet usage, and data analysis.
- Professional and friendly telephone communication style.
