Technology Lead - Analog Layout

Job Overview

Infosys is seeking an experienced professional to join as a Technology Lead specializing in Analog Layout. The role involves collaborating closely with layout engineers and RF designers to develop precise transistor-level layouts for RF and analog circuits such as bandgap, bias, LDO, ADC/DAC, baseband filters, modulators, power amplifiers, PLL, LO generation, LNAs, and mixers.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality detailed layouts ensuring successful verification including extraction, DRC, LVS, and DFM.
• Ensure layout quality through thorough checks on power/ground routing, electromigration, signal integrity, differential and IQ signal matching, and coupling minimization.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Must be located within commuting distance of Vancouver, British Columbia or willing to relocate; some travel within Canada may be required.
• Possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with progressive responsibilities in the field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Information Technology.
• Eligible to work in Canada without employer-based visa sponsorship; Infosys is currently unable to sponsor immigration for this role.
• Extensive expertise in FinFET technology at technology nodes N5, N3, N2 or more advanced.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in custom RF/analog layout design for transceivers, with in-depth understanding of deep sub-micron CMOS technology.
• Proficient in interpreting CALIBRE tools for DRC, ERC, and LVS verification.
• Experienced in CADENCE Virtuoso Layout XL and related layout CAD tools.
• Strong knowledge of layout practices for device matching, parasitic minimization, RF shielding, and high-frequency routing.
• Solid grasp of RC delay, electromigration effects, and signal coupling phenomena.
• Familiar with implementing guard rings, DNW, PN junctions, and managing advanced process effects such as LOD and WPE.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with design teams.

Additional Information

This job includes the requirement to sit and work on a computer for prolonged periods. Candidates must communicate effectively through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.

Compensation

Estimated salary range for this position in British Columbia is from $90,450 to $136,500 annually.
