Technologist - PEE Fab Support

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and uphold safety standards proactively within the workplace.
• Maintain vigilance to identify and communicate any safety concerns.
• Oversee equipment performance, ensuring timely handling of any issues.
• Lead the shift equipment team in executing both preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
• Possess comprehensive expertise in Fab Support tasks, focusing particularly on Pumps, Chillers, and Abatement systems, and help develop your team's technical skills.
• Handle administrative and supervisory responsibilities including attendance tracking, staffing organization, and performance reviews of shift technicians.
• Act as the primary communication link between FAB personnel and the Fab Support group regarding production concerns.
• Take full ownership of equipment, process, and personnel matters during the shift.
• Ensure adequate shift coverage to meet operational demands.
• Coordinate shift involvement in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities.
• Encourage a workplace culture where Fab10 employees can openly address problems, share feedback, and raise concerns.
• Assist with new equipment installations, testing, and commissioning efforts.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Possess a Diploma in any Engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the capability to diagnose, understand, and repair mechanical systems.
• Experience and understanding of vacuum systems along with troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to interpret schematic diagrams to analyze systems down to component level.
• Proficient with PC use, including familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving skills and capability to effectively prioritize workload.
• Good time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Adept at following procedures and working independently without close supervision.
• Capacity to work 12-hour shifts as required.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact well with team members and other departments.
