Technician/Certifying Staff

About the Role

BT Airworks specializes in assembling, maintaining, and repairing Unit Load Devices (ULDs), including containers, pellets, nets, and refrigerated units. The Technician/Certifying Staff position involves executing repairs on ULDs in line with company protocols and aviation authority standards, ensuring aviation operations proceed smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair Unit Load Devices by adhering to Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM) and the company's Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE) to guarantee safety and compliance.
• Observe all relevant company and aviation authority rules and procedures to maintain high operational standards.
• Perform administrative duties diligently, including accurate documentation and timely reporting to track maintenance activities effectively.
• Detect and communicate any defects or irregularities in components or processes to uphold quality and safety benchmarks.
• Consistently achieve or surpass production goals while maintaining repair and maintenance quality.
• Carry out other maintenance and repair duties as required to support daily operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess at least a Nitec certification in Electrical, Mechanical, Aircraft Maintenance, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work well with team members.
• Holding a valid Forklift license is considered beneficial.

Additional Details

• Working schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Base monthly salary starts at $2300, supplemented by a fixed skill allowance and overtime pay, commensurate with experience.
• Training will be provided to support skill development.
• Work location is at Changi South, Singapore.
