Job Responsibilities

• Install and set up a variety of IoT devices including smart switches, sensors, lights, cameras, door locks, video doorbells, and thermostats.
• Carry out installation and termination of network cables, power supplies, and low-voltage wiring adhering to specifications.
• Mount equipment based on installation schematics and manufacturer guidelines.
• Configure networking hardware such as Wi-Fi, LAN, routers, switches, and access points related to smart-home technology.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to IP addresses, DHCP protocols, Wi-Fi connectivity, and network communications.
• Maintain consistent communication links between IoT devices and the home automation controllers.
• Apply knowledge of Wi-Fi and Zigbee protocols in managing smart devices.
• Install and set up IP cameras, NVRs/DVRs, video doorbell systems, access control devices, and audio systems.
• Enable remote device viewing through mobile applications and troubleshoot related connectivity and recording problems.

Candidate Qualifications

• Technical proficiency in installing, configuring, and maintaining security systems, smart home/office devices, and fundamental networking equipment.
• Skilled at diagnosing and resolving configuration and connectivity issues using suitable tools and approaches.
• Practical knowledge of safe low-voltage wiring, cabling techniques, and handling of electrical/electronic components.
• Excellent documentation, organizational, and time management skills to plan site visits, record maintenance activities, and comply with procedures.
• Strong communication abilities, capable of providing user training, system explanations, and professional customer support.
• Ability to operate on-site in Dammam with flexibility for hybrid working, including occasional after-hours work as needed.
• Possession of relevant technical diploma or certification in electronics, networking, ICT, or a related discipline; experience in security or automation systems is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel to client locations; understanding of safety standards and best practices is required.
