Job description

Overview

We have an exciting opening for an Analyzer Technician at our Jubail facility. The role focuses on maintaining and ensuring the reliability of plant process analyzers to provide accurate measurements with minimal downtime. The technician will undertake troubleshooting, preventive, and corrective maintenance either on-site or in the workshop.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance tasks aligning with plant operations.
  • Operate and maintain online analyzers including Gas Chromatography, CEMS, IR, TOC, pH/Conductivity, O2, Silica, among others.
  • Possess sound knowledge of analyzer shelter safety and sample handling protocols.
  • Execute troubleshooting and maintenance procedures efficiently.
  • Ensure on-line analyzer systems meet required specifications including response time, accuracy, precision, and MTBF.
  • Lead the monitoring and procurement of calibration standards, parts, and consumables for analyzers.
  • Stay updated with latest technological trends and collaborate with peers to enhance problem-solving and preventive techniques.
  • Align service requests with business and team goals, ensuring their value addition.
  • Carry out any additional duties assigned by supervisors or management.
  • Adhere strictly to EHSS guidelines and overall safety standards.
  • Participate in review meetings aimed at continual improvement of analyzer system performance through maintenance and calibration data analysis.
  • Maintain consistent communication with plant personnel to monitor team performance and operational conditions.
  • Follow all Responsible Care and Tasnee policies to support commitment towards sustainable business practices.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Associate degree in Industrial Chemistry, Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or equivalent fields.
  • At least eight years of professional experience working with Petrochemicals or Refinery Process Online Analyzer Systems.
