Technician (Borescope Inspector)

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct Borescope Inspections for engine receival and pre-delivery phases, covering engine modules and related components.
• Generate detailed Borescope inspection reports and complete associated documentation accurately post-task.
• Adhere rigorously to approved technical guidelines and standard operational procedures during Borescope inspections.
• Maintain Borescope equipment through total preventative maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges encountered during daily operations effectively.
• Support supervisory personnel including Operations Manager, Leader, and Assistant Foremen to meet production and organizational objectives.
• Perform cross-departmental tasks as needed and undertake other assigned duties.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Possession of a valid Engine Borescope Inspection certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years hands-on maintenance experience in Engine Borescope Inspection.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical capabilities to quickly comprehend concepts and troubleshoot issues.
• Ability to operate independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and perform well under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with aircraft engine workshop procedures.
• Training and experience with G.E. Mentor BSI equipment.
• Certification and experience in performing Boreblend processes.
• Knowledge of PW4000, PW1100, or GP7000 engine models is advantageous.
