Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct Borescope Inspections for engine receival and pre-delivery phases, covering engine modules and related components.
- Generate detailed Borescope inspection reports and complete associated documentation accurately post-task.
- Adhere rigorously to approved technical guidelines and standard operational procedures during Borescope inspections.
- Maintain Borescope equipment through total preventative maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges encountered during daily operations effectively.
- Support supervisory personnel including Operations Manager, Leader, and Assistant Foremen to meet production and organizational objectives.
- Perform cross-departmental tasks as needed and undertake other assigned duties.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Possession of a valid Engine Borescope Inspection certificate.
- Minimum of 2 years hands-on maintenance experience in Engine Borescope Inspection.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical capabilities to quickly comprehend concepts and troubleshoot issues.
- Ability to operate independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and perform well under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with aircraft engine workshop procedures.
- Training and experience with G.E. Mentor BSI equipment.
- Certification and experience in performing Boreblend processes.
- Knowledge of PW4000, PW1100, or GP7000 engine models is advantageous.
