About the Role

The position of Technical Trainer is based in Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland, within the Learning & Development Department. This team is integral to equipping personnel across all departments with essential skills, knowledge, and support necessary for optimal job performance. The L&D Department consists of a Global Learning & Development Manager, a Technical Trainer, and two Training Administrators, and is committed to fostering continuous learning and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive technical and compliance training programs for staff in Dundalk and across Irish operations.
• Enhance workforce skills and operational safety through classroom and practical sessions aligned with company policies, industry standards, and Republic of Ireland health, safety, and environmental legislation.
• Collaborate closely with operational teams, project managers, and the Training & Development team to identify skill shortages and implement tailored training solutions.
• Ensure employees maintain competence, compliance, and confidence in their respective roles.

Working Hours and Reporting

Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The Technical Trainer reports directly to the Global Learning & Development Manager.

Compensation

Salary is competitive and will be determined in accordance with experience.
