About the Role
Across Engitech Pvt. Ltd., based in Jaipur, is seeking a knowledgeable HVAC Technical Support Engineer experienced in aiding sales teams to meet technical demands related to HVAC products and projects. This role requires a technically meticulous professional who will collaborate with multiple departments to convert sales inquiries into confirmed orders.
Core Duties
- Offer technical expertise to the sales team regarding HVAC products and project necessities.
- Analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate HVAC solutions and equipment.
- Assist in generating technical quotations, bills of quantities (BOQs), estimates, and proposals.
- Review drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and customer requirements to ensure alignment.
- Help select equipment based on capacity, application, and project parameters.
- Create and verify technical datasheets, compliance documents, and product information.
- Collaborate with design and estimation teams on drawings, calculations, and costing requirements.
- Provide clarifications on technical matters to clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Participate in technical discussions and customer meetings with the sales team.
- Support sales executives in understanding and communicating technical aspects of HVAC products.
- Assess customer and company product specifications to identify technical discrepancies.
- Coordinate with purchasing, production, and project departments to confirm technical feasibility.
- Keep technical information, product specifications, and related documentation up to date.
- Create technical presentations and product proposals for customers.
- Support sales during negotiations by contributing technical input.
- Track and follow up on technical inquiries to ensure prompt solutions.
- Maintain detailed records of technical inquiries, proposals, modifications, and customer specifications.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma, B.Tech, or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- Between 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in HVAC technical support, design and estimation, or sales support fields.
- Strong HVAC knowledge and proficient communication abilities are essential.
