Position Summary
The Technical Services Engineer will support sales objectives and market share growth through dealer and construction site engagement in Lunglei, Mizoram. This role involves hands-on field work with dealers, sub-dealers, masons, and contractors, ensuring product quality and technical service excellence.
Key Duties
- Conduct regular visits to dealers and sub-dealers to strengthen relationships and expand reach.
- Facilitate the registration and enrollment of masons and contractors into the company network.
- Promote conversion of construction sites on a dealer and sub-dealer basis.
- Handle and resolve product quality complaints efficiently.
- Provide technical and service support to active construction sites.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Experience with CRM and sales management software, including Dealer App, ASO App, and SAP.
- Understanding of distribution networks encompassing logistics, supply chain, and distributor relations.
- Financial insight into pricing strategies, cost structures, and profitable deal formulations.
- Strong techno-commercial sales orientation.
- Ability to influence stakeholders such as contractors, engineers, and masons.
- Proven skills in managing customer complaints and addressing technical queries.
Eligibility and Experience
- Educational qualification: Bachelor of Technology or Bachelor of Engineering in any discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year for B.E/B.Tech graduates; minimum 3 years for diploma holders.
- Prior experience in similar roles is essential, preferably within cement, building materials, or construction chemicals sectors.
- Current or past on-roll employment with cement organizations is preferred; off-roll candidates require zero tolerance for harassment clearance.
- Candidates must avoid assignments at construction sites outside the company’s scope.
