Role Overview
The Technical Sales Engineer at SALLMEQ Group plays a key role in driving lead generation and business growth within the healthcare sector. The position involves identifying potential clients, nurturing relationships, and managing sales pipelines effectively to meet company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and identify leads by conducting field visits, leveraging networking opportunities, and acquiring referrals.
- Focus outreach efforts on private hospitals, nursing homes, diagnostic centers, and governmental healthcare organizations.
- Maintain a robust sales funnel by consistently prospecting new opportunities and nurturing existing contacts.
- Perform regular visits to hospitals, healthcare consultants, architects, and contractors to foster and maintain strong client relationships.
- Build enduring partnerships with hospital administrators, heads of purchasing departments, and project managers.
- Represent the company professionally in all interactions to uphold the SALLMEQ Group’s reputation.
- Conduct client meetings to ascertain project needs, timelines, and budget constraints; deliver presentations on company profile, portfolio, and case studies.
- Assess project sites through visits, measurements, and infrastructure evaluations, with documentation of findings.
- Collaborate with technical teams to shape solution requirements tailored to site-specific conditions.
- Coordinate with technical and design departments for accurate preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and quotations, ensuring competitive pricing and punctual submission.
- Present and clarify quotations, address client questions, proactively follow up on proposals and negotiate terms to convert inquiries into confirmed orders.
- Manage objections effectively and maintain detailed inquiry tracking records.
- Stay informed on competitor activities, market trends, and new hospital projects; provide daily reports including job cards, visit documentation, and sales pipeline updates.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and refinement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on market feedback, aiding product development.
- Offer support across departments during peak periods and collaborate to optimize operational workflows.
