Technical Recruiter

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter to join our expanding team, focusing on recruiting for roles in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and AI safety. This position involves managing the entire recruitment cycle for multiple mandates and establishing strategic sourcing strategies to attract highly specialized candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Simultaneously oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, from identifying hiring needs through offer acceptance.
• Devise and implement creative, targeted sourcing approaches to engage niche talent including Research Developers, Machine Learning Researchers, and AI Safety Specialists.
• Engage and nurture passive candidates throughout the recruitment journey.
• Develop detailed research plans involving profile targeting, local and global market mapping, competitor analysis, and the formation of specialized talent pools.
• Contribute to ongoing market intelligence efforts and talent mapping within AI and related technological sectors.
• Work closely with hiring managers, researchers, and technical leaders to clarify hiring priorities and target profiles.
• Handle the entire offer process including preparation, negotiation, presentation, and closure.
• Ensure a seamless and customized candidate experience appropriate to the expertise level of applicants.
• Participate in initiatives across HR and other teams to enhance recruitment strategies, tools, compensation, engagement, and accessibility.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience recruiting technical profiles, ideally with deep familiarity with AI research terminologies and challenges.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly-evolving startup-like environment with fluctuating priorities.
• Fluent communication skills in both German and English, both written and verbal, to support international collaboration.
