Role Overview
As a vital member of the recruiting team, you will hold significant responsibility for talent acquisition aligned with Anduril's expansion goals. The role demands proactive collaboration with leadership and individual contributors to identify recruitment needs and independently drive the talent strategy. You will engage fully in all facets of sourcing, screening, and hiring to build a top-tier engineering team in a dynamic, versatile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate swiftly to source, monitor, and manage a substantial candidate pool while maintaining clear communication with key stakeholders.
- Forge strong, trust-based relationships with business leaders to influence talent acquisition strategies and achieve hiring goals.
- Develop consistent collaboration rhythms with cross-functional partners to support scaling and company growth.
- Immerse in the business units to grasp product positioning, market applicability, technical plans, and team culture.
- Gain deep insight into Anduril's mission to persuasively present the opportunity and secure exceptional technical talent.
- Analyze and track hiring pipelines and results to uncover opportunities for improvement and drive strategic recruitment narratives.
- Devising long-term recruitment plans incorporating best practices such as referral programs and process enhancements.
- Serve as an expert in sourcing techniques, data extraction, automation tools, and candidate management.
- Conduct candidate interviews skillfully, anticipating hiring manager preferences to optimize interview-to-offer success rates.
- Engage passive candidates through platforms including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, referrals, and specialized campaigns.
- Ensure a consistently positive candidate experience with proactive and transparent communication throughout the recruitment process.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years recruitment experience targeting technical roles, particularly in startup or software contexts.
- Proven background hiring across engineering disciplines, including software and hardware roles.
- At least 3 years working directly with clients such as Hiring Managers and Directors, managing recruitment pipelines and candidate evaluation.
- Strong consultative skills yielding effective client guidance and enhanced candidate experiences.
- Deep understanding of technical competencies necessary for engineering positions.
- Clear and engaging communication to assess candidate motivation and suitability.
- Competence in managing candidate funnels and tracking recruitment progress diligently.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and human resource information systems.
- Knowledge of advanced interviewing techniques and candidate screening approaches.
- Experience utilizing diverse sourcing channels effectively.

Contract Details
This is a contract role for 6 to 12 months, with potential for transition to a permanent position.
