Technical Program Manager with AI Focus

As a Technical Program Manager, you will leverage your technical background to steer complex, multidisciplinary projects from inception through completion. You’ll coordinate with stakeholders to outline requirements, identify risks, manage timelines, and maintain clear communication with diverse teams across the company. Your role demands effective communication, whether it is presenting technical analyses to engineering teams or delivering strategic recommendations to executives.

The AI and Infrastructure team is at the forefront of innovation, enabling revolutionary AI capabilities and infrastructure at unmatched scale and efficiency. This team supports a wide spectrum of users including Googlers, Google Cloud clients, and billions of global users. They drive advancements in AI model development, hyperscale computing platforms, and cloud-based networking solutions including TPUs, Vertex AI, Google Global Networking, and data center operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal and cross-functional networking teams to define and implement strategic and tactical projects addressing Google's network infrastructure expansion and cost optimization across Asia.
• Provide status updates within the organization, collaborating with technical teams to monitor timelines and dependencies related to infrastructure deployment.
• Oversee the comprehensive technical strategy, design, and implementation of internal tools, automation systems, and AI/LLM-powered intelligent agents that troubleshoot and solve sophisticated network issues.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering, Infrastructure, and Software teams to thoroughly understand networking challenges and transform them into concrete software feature requirements and tooling specifications.
• Identify manual network operations with high friction, repetition, or error rates and lead initiatives to replace these with automated workflows to reduce operational complexity and overhead.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years’ experience in program management roles.
• Hands-on experience constructing machine learning models, prototypes, and AI agents.
• Preferred: Familiarity with fundamental networking protocols, topology design, telemetry, and contemporary data center or cloud network operations and infrastructure.

Compensation

Location: Ireland
Salary Range: €118000 - €120000 annually (EUR) plus a 15% bonus target along with equity and comprehensive benefits.
