Technical Program Manager, Cloud CISO Compliance Certifications

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of certification programs, ensuring renewals and new Google Cloud compliance certifications are achieved promptly, utilizing Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools for monitoring, evidence management, and reporting.
• Partner closely with engineering and product teams to embed compliance requirements into Google Cloud’s product and infrastructure development cycles, offering expert technical advice on control implementations.
• Coordinate with product teams to onboard new services, features, and infrastructure modifications ensuring compliance; evaluate and mitigate compliance risks associated with major technical changes.
• Lead efforts in developing, documenting, and validating security and privacy controls within designated GRC platforms in alignment with evolving certification standards.
• Monitor and manage remediation of compliance gaps and audit findings, establishing and tracking metrics to measure remediation effectiveness and progress.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years in technical program management.
• Experience working with established security compliance frameworks and certifications such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, C5, PCI DSS, or equivalents.

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of professional certifications like CISSP, CISA, CIPP, ISO lead implementer, PCI ISA, or other related information security credentials.
• Proven track record delivering projects focused on information security or risk management, including control design, implementation, and testing.
• Familiarity with assessing product-level security control implementations.
• Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance platforms; knowledge of Google’s internal GRC systems such as Comply and GGRC.
• Understanding of Google Cloud’s architecture, security, and compliance offerings.

Additional Information

This position is located in Dublin, Ireland. Compensation varies depending on skills, experience, and education, with a salary range of €118,000 to €120,000 plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
