Synk'd Automation specializes in smart automation solutions for residential and commercial environments. Since 2022, they have successfully completed over 50 projects in Bengaluru and continue to expand. Their operations include a showroom located in Sahakarnagar.
Role Summary
This position as Technical Operations Associate offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the founder in a hardware startup setting. Unlike typical internships, this role provides comprehensive exposure to the entire operational cycle, from bench work to customer handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure Synk'd Hub and Switch systems at client locations, including network setup (Wi-Fi, routers, access points) using specialized tools.
- Conduct site visits prior to installation to assess switchboard requirements and measurements, then prepare detailed quotes and invoices.
- Perform firmware uploads, bench testing of new units, and mechanical fitting into enclosures.
- Handle client handovers by instructing customers on app usage and providing first-line technical support.
- Maintain operational continuity by managing stock levels, scheduling installations, coordinating with vendors, and updating the CRM system.
- Assist with product demonstrations both at the showroom and on client premises.
Additional Exposure
- Collaborate on partnerships with architects.
- Contribute to marketing content and product documentation development.
Initial Training Plan
During the first two weeks, trainees will focus on product familiarization and mastering the quoting tool at the workshop bench. Weeks three and four will involve onsite visits alongside the founder. Subsequently, the associate will independently manage installations with ongoing support.
Candidate Profile
- Educational qualifications: B.E./B.Tech in ECE, EEE, E&I, CSE or IT fields, or Diploma in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
- Eligible applicants include freshers or professionals with up to one year of relevant experience.
- Preference for candidates who enjoy hands-on work and problem-solving at client locations.
- Proficiency in English plus Kannada or Hindi is required.
- Must own a two-wheeler vehicle with a valid driver's license.
Desirable Skills
- Foundational networking knowledge.
- Experience with electrical installations or CCTV systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and artificial intelligence concepts.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly stipend ranging from ₹12,000 to ₹18,000, adjusted based on candidate qualifications and skills, along with fuel allowances.
- Initial 3-month internship with subsequent full-time employment offer at an annual salary between ₹300,000 and ₹400,000 depending on performance.
- Performance evaluations at 3 and 6 months, with potential to lead future installation teams.
- Receipt of a certificate and letter of recommendation upon completion.
Work Schedule
The workweek covers Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Weekend work may be required for site visits, with compensatory time off granted.
