Job Overview

The role involves managing audio-visual (AV) setups and live event operations for school functions such as assemblies and performances. The candidate will be responsible for operating lighting, soundboards, and media mixing consoles throughout live events. Supporting students and staff with AV equipment configuration and testing is essential, including providing training sessions for Media Club participants and teachers.

Key Duties

• Handle photography, videography, and video editing tasks to document school events and create promotional material.
• Administer and update the school website and digital signage systems.
• Oversee the maintenance and management of classroom AV systems, including projectors, interactive displays, and sound setups.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot AV equipment issues regularly.
• Conduct thorough checks and maintenance of public address (PA) systems to ensure optimal operation.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum qualification of a Diploma or Higher Nitec in Audio-Visual Technology, Media Production, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of practical experience with AV systems, especially in live event production settings.
• Capability in training educators and students on the use of AV hardware and software.
• Experience in professional photography, videography, and video editing is essential.
• Familiarity with digital audio mixers, wireless microphones, and stage lighting systems.
• Strong skills in troubleshooting and maintaining AV and classroom technological equipment.
• Basic understanding of website content management systems (CMS) and digital signage platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to provide support during early morning or after-school events as necessary.
• Physical fitness to safely handle, transport, and set up AV equipment.
