Technical Lead - Network & Security

Job Overview

We are searching for a skilled Technical Lead specializing in Network and Security (L3) to provide expert technical guidance and advanced support for vital infrastructure components. This role centers on complex problem-solving, sophisticated Switching & Routing configuration, and the incorporation of innovative security technologies. As the top technical expert in our operations team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability, optimization, and continuous uptime of our worldwide network infrastructure, covering Wireless, SASE, and SD-WAN platforms.

Primary Responsibilities

• Take charge of high-level network architecture design and administration, focusing heavily on advanced Switching & Routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and VXLAN along with wireless management.
• Manage deployment and fine-tuning of contemporary security technologies including SASE, SD-WAN, and Zero Trust models.
• Ensure the global network remains stable and performs optimally through effective capacity planning and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate across IT teams, providing expert technical advice and ensuring all rollouts meet security standards and governance.
• Mentor team members through guidance and hands-on training to improve the skill set and operational efficiency of the technical team.
• Create and update detailed documentation covering network and security designs, configurations, and processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least 7 years of progressive network and security experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or senior engineering position.
• Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise networking infrastructure with expertise in Switching & Routing, Wireless controller technologies, and network security tools such as Next-Generation Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, SASE, and SD-WAN.
• Proficient understanding of network protocols like TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, and DHCP.
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Preferred: Experience in cloud network security on AWS and Azure, plus automation skills using scripting languages such as Python and Ansible.
• Preferred certifications include CCIE, CCNP Security, PCNSE, or CISSP.
• Familiarity with ITIL framework and practical knowledge in incident response or forensic investigations.
