Role Overview

We are looking for a diligent IP Deployment Engineer to join our team, entrusted with deploying and supporting one of the globe’s largest and most complex network infrastructures. This role demands a proactive and highly motivated individual who adapts quickly in a fast-moving and dynamic workplace. You will be a solution-oriented professional who challenges conventional methods by introducing innovative approaches to routine challenges. Superior communication skills are essential, as you will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners such as vendors and contractors.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Take charge of deploying and maintaining network hardware platforms and architectures, with a focus on Cisco and/or Juniper routers and switches.
• Configure and troubleshoot IP routing and switching protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, and MPLS within dual-stack IPv4/IPv6 environments.
• Coordinate and execute large-scale hardware installations and system configurations.
• Lead complex network deployment projects, ensuring thorough attention to details throughout each phase.
• Engage effectively with vendors and external collaborators to guarantee successful project completion.
• Design cage layouts and rack elevations using tools like MS Visio or Omnigraffle.
• Understand data center electrical and cooling setups, including IEC, NEMA standards, AC/DC power systems, and redundant power configurations.
• Utilize Linux and operating system tools relevant to the role.
• Operate efficiently within a global team framework with limited supervision.
• Preferred qualifications include certifications such as CCNP or JNCIP, with expert-level certifications considered advantageous.
• Experience in scripting, automation, and coordinating projects involving optical communication hardware deployment (DWDM), site preparation, and OTDR testing is a plus.
