About the Role
GrainCorp Animal Nutrition is seeking a technically proficient and sales-oriented individual for the newly created position of Technical Feed Partner based in Hamilton, New Zealand. This vital role focuses on leveraging specialist knowledge in dairy cow nutrition and feeding to provide tailored nutritional solutions that enhance on-farm production, reproduction, animal performance, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
- Apply expertise in ration formulation, feed evaluation, and nutrition management to support herd health and productivity.
- Provide high-level, farm-focused technical support and guidance to customers.
- Utilise analytical tools to interpret feed and production data effectively.
- Communicate findings and insights clearly to farmers and rural professionals.
- Engage in some travel including overnight stays to meet client needs and support field operations.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Proven background in dairy cow nutrition and feed formulation tailored to diverse production systems.
- Experience in agricultural or nutritional sales, preferably within the dairy industry.
- Strong analytical aptitude with competence in data interpretation.
- Effective communication skills for conveying complex nutritional insights to farmers and rural stakeholders.
- Hands-on familiarity with on-farm environments or commercial feed operations preferred.
- Must hold a current valid driver’s licence.
- Candidates must provide proof of working rights and professional references and complete a pre-employment medical examination.
