Technical Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Technical Engineer responsible for overseeing the daily technical maintenance and operations within a facility. This role involves managing multiple engineering disciplines including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, fire and life safety systems, as well as civil maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate routine maintenance and breakdown repairs for various systems such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, fire safety, and civil infrastructure.
• Perform regular inspections of common areas, plant rooms, terraces, basements, and civil structures to ensure maintenance standards are upheld.
• Collaborate effectively with vendors and contractors to execute maintenance activities, repairs, and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC).
• Manage the proper functioning of utilities including DG sets, Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), Water Treatment Plant (WTP), pumps, lifts, and HVAC equipment.
• Oversee civil maintenance works including masonry, painting, waterproofing, flooring, and structural repairs ensuring quality and compliance.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, statutory requirements, and internal SOPs across all operations.
• Monitor energy and water usage regularly and suggest actionable strategies for conservation and efficiency.
• Respond promptly to occupant complaints, aiming at resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation including records, checklists, logs, and asset inventories.
• Support emergency management during equipment failures, fire incidents, water leaks, power outages, and other operational disruptions.
• Coordinate seamlessly with housekeeping, security, and engineering teams to maintain efficient facility operations.
• Generate and submit daily, weekly, and monthly technical reports to management summarizing operational status and maintenance activities.
