Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Architect to establish and refine the foundational architectures for our engineering organization. This role requires deep expertise in system design combined with the ability to influence cross-team collaboration and ensure cohesive systems integration over long-term development.

Key Responsibilities

Define and continuously develop target architectures across key platform sectors.
Lead architectural review processes and technical decision-making forums.
Collaborate with engineering teams on system design and integration methodologies.
Compose architecture decision records, RFCs, and strategic technical documentation.
Mentor senior engineers and formalize core architectural principles.
Assess emerging technologies to guide build-versus-buy determinations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Minimum eight years of software engineering experience, with substantial architectural roles.
Profound expertise in distributed systems and architectures that are cloud-native.
Proven success designing systems scalable to high loads.
Exceptional written communication skills including drafting RFCs and strategic documents.
Experience in cross-team influence without direct authority.
Strong mentorship abilities and consultative leadership approach.
