Job description
Overview
Join a dedicated expert team in Adelaide, providing clinical advisory services focused on complex disability support issues. This contract role runs initially until December 2026, with a possibility of extension, and offers a hybrid work arrangement combining onsite and remote work.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert technical advice on disability support cases using clinical and allied health knowledge.
- Support evidence-based decision-making and ensure quality outcomes for individuals with disabilities.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to foster effective partnerships.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior colleagues to enhance professional capabilities within the team.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong abilities in both written and verbal communication to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
- Proven critical thinking skills and the aptitude to make sound decisions.
- Experience working collaboratively in team settings and providing leadership and advisory support.
- Adaptability to shifting priorities and the capacity to assist diverse functions within the branch.
- Efficient time management and multitasking capabilities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- High level of discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Competence with Office software such as Microsoft Office Suite and tools for scheduling, document preparation, and communication.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in disability, hospital, or aged care environments.
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in health or allied health fields.
- Experience providing professional leadership, mentorship, and ensuring consistent quality in advisory services.
- Successful management of team-specific objectives and deliverables.
- Eligibility for registration with AHPRA or AHPA is mandatory.
