Job description

Overview

Join a dedicated expert team in Adelaide, providing clinical advisory services focused on complex disability support issues. This contract role runs initially until December 2026, with a possibility of extension, and offers a hybrid work arrangement combining onsite and remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert technical advice on disability support cases using clinical and allied health knowledge.
  • Support evidence-based decision-making and ensure quality outcomes for individuals with disabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to foster effective partnerships.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior colleagues to enhance professional capabilities within the team.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong abilities in both written and verbal communication to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Proven critical thinking skills and the aptitude to make sound decisions.
  • Experience working collaboratively in team settings and providing leadership and advisory support.
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities and the capacity to assist diverse functions within the branch.
  • Efficient time management and multitasking capabilities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • High level of discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Competence with Office software such as Microsoft Office Suite and tools for scheduling, document preparation, and communication.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in disability, hospital, or aged care environments.
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise in health or allied health fields.
  • Experience providing professional leadership, mentorship, and ensuring consistent quality in advisory services.
  • Successful management of team-specific objectives and deliverables.
  • Eligibility for registration with AHPRA or AHPA is mandatory.
