About the Role
We invite a skilled Solutions Architect to join a thriving technology team in Auckland, focusing on significant transformation within the financial services industry. This hands-on position emphasizes digital solutions, involving the design and implementation of customer-centric products across mobile and web interfaces, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise systems integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Define architectural blueprints for digital customer platforms and products
- Support the creation of seamless mobile and web user experiences
- Design and manage APIs and integration methodologies linking digital interfaces to complex enterprise systems
- Ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and consistent with strategic technology goals
- Provide practical technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle
- Contribute to the development of architecture standards and frameworks in a dynamic environment
- Balance the trade-offs between customer satisfaction, business objectives, and technical feasibility
Candidate Profile
- Minimum five years of hands-on experience in solution architecture
- Expertise in designing modern digital platforms and customer-focused solutions
- Strong skills in API design, management, and integration
- Experienced in connecting digital applications with legacy and complex enterprise systems
- Knowledgeable in React Native and Angular frameworks for mobile and web respectively
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure
- Well-versed in microservices architecture and contemporary design principles
- Awareness of security, privacy, performance, and accessibility standards
- Understanding of best practices in software development lifecycle
- Capability to operate effectively in uncertain environments with evolving frameworks
Experience in financial services, insurance, or wealth management sectors is advantageous.
