Position Overview

As a Team Member in Retail Packaging & Operations at Bombay Sweet Shop in Andheri East (with work at the Chembur location as well), you will be a vital part of ensuring every sweet is elegantly packed and delivered. This full-time role involves hands-on operation of sealing and filling machinery, precise packing, labeling, and contributing to daily production goals without compromising on quality or safety standards. The work requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and consistent performance throughout your shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate sealing and weight filling machines efficiently to fulfill daily production targets.
• Accurately sort, weigh, pack, and label food items as per product and order requirements.
• Perform quality inspections to identify and remove defective or damaged products.
• Maintain workplace hygiene by following strict sanitization protocols and cleaning machinery after use.
• Track inventory and production using basic math skills and simple logging methods; report shortages or issues to supervisors.

Candidate Profile

• No formal experience mandatory; previous roles in manufacturing, warehouse, food production, FMCG, or packaging environments are advantageous.
• Ability to read and follow packaging instructions precisely.
• Comfortable using hands and operating machinery safely.
• Basic mathematical skills for weighing products and tracking inventory.
• Physically fit to handle the demands of the job.
• Flexible to work in shifts including weekends.
• Reliable, disciplined, and quality-conscious team player.

Team and Reporting

This role is within the Retail Packing Team, working closely with supervisors and team members across locations in Andheri and Chembur. Reports directly to the Operations Manager.
