Role Overview and Responsibilities

As a Retail Team Member at Ampol, you will be essential in maintaining store standards through effective merchandising, managing inventory, and controlling stock levels. You will proficiently operate the POS system and perform cash reconciliations to ensure accurate handling of transactions during your shifts.

• Provide exceptional customer service by prioritizing and exceeding customer expectations.
• Assist the Store Manager with daily retail activities utilizing your retail experience.
• Work collaboratively within the team to foster a productive and positive work environment.
• Maintain attention to detail emphasizing safety protocols and operational accuracy.
• Be flexible and ready to work weekends and overnight shifts as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
• Competency in operating POS systems and accurately handling cash transactions.
• Strong communication abilities and capability to work well within a team.
• Availability to work a rotating roster that covers all seven days, including overnight and weekend shifts.
